Ineke Tops Off Look With Axilone Cap

Blurring masculinity and femininity, Ineke chose a modern design that incorporates both square and cylindrical shapes for its men’s and women’s fragrances. The square cap, manufactured by Axilone, is paired with a round bottle made of heavyweight glass. The cap has rounded corners and a subtle concave top surface, with a deboss of the company logo.

A semi-rigid folding box manufactured by Alliora protects the fragrance bottle. The carton construction is reinforced with a heavy inner layer. The paper has a matte texture. More information: www.ileos.com.

By142 Chooses Airless Container

By142 chose Arminak & Associates’ Uplock Airless for its new skincare line, which launched in Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom in May.

The bottles feature an innovative dispensing system. In order to dispense, consumers simply twist the cap to expose the actuator. Another twist conceals the actuator. By142 chose to decorate the containers with a simple, modern design that makes smart use of the color red. More information: www.arminak-associates.com.

A Different Kind of Passenger

UK-based Taxi Cosmetics Limited has launched its Passengers range to Japanese consumers. The inter-changeable passengers line features eight shades of lip gloss and mascara. The containers — which click together to form duos — were supplied by Alcan Techpack. All Taxi’s shades are named after famous London streets or landmarks, such as Notting Hill.
